the day after WLD 2024
World Labyrinth Day carries with it a lot of energy.
It is a world wide walk for peace event.
The first Saturday of May brings a wave of time zones all walking a labyrinth at 1pm.
So in a 24-hour period, there is someone, somewhere in the world, walking for peace.
Including Idaho.
The outdoor event is tricky because the weather is unpredictable.
Always being pushed in a new direction.
Stretched to think outside of the box.
Our fire ceremony was taken inside this year.
Our closing circle was beyond beautiful, filled with the most incredible shares.
There is something about nature.
Abraham Hicks was quoted as saying, “When you play with nature, nature plays back.”
As I blew my intention over the ceremonial roses, carnations and tobacco my intention was to let go of control.
I let go of the cold.
I let go of the idea of an outdoor fire pit.
I let go of perfection.
I let it be.
I stayed up late last night as the online auction ended at midnight.
When I woke up this morning, I looked out the window.
Snow.
Laughter bellowed from my belly.
Snow.
10 people walked the path yesterday.
I imagine that it felt like the whole world.
And in some way, it was the whole world.
Energetically, it was.
So now she rests.
The land and nature transmuting our empty places into peace.
“When you play with nature, nature plays back.” -AH
